Screening and crushing industry leader McCloskey International has welcomed CablePrice (NZ) to its global network of distributors for McCloskey equipment. CablePrice will serve New Zealand, Fiji, New Caledonia and Tonga.

McCloskey designs and manufactures innovative crushers, screeners, stacking conveyors and washing systems. Their equipment is used in industries including aggregate and quarrying, mining, construction and demolition, waste management and recycling, and landscaping and composting.

The McCloskey dealership was formalised at a global quarrying, construction and recycling expo Hillhead 2018, in Buxton, UK.

“The strength of our CablePrice brand comes not only from demanding the highest level of service and assistance for our customers, but also from the world leading brands and products we support. Hitachi, John Deere, Bell, Montabert, Scania and Isuzu are among the most identifiable brands in the world, and we are excited to add McCloskey International to our stable. All these brands have proud and strong reputations in their fields of expertise,” said Pat Ward, CablePrice managing director and COO.

“Our companies and customers will benefit from having access to McCloskey products at this time. With the current economic growth, and signals from the Government and the private sector that they will continue to invest heavily in infrastructure, we anticipate strong growth in the aggregate sector. The focus on developments including Roads of National Significance (RoNS) and improving regional links will reflect strong growth numbers through 2019 and beyond.”

McCloskey International president and CEO Paschal McCloskey said having CablePrice on board strengthened its global distribution network.

“New Zealand is a market with huge potential, particularly in quarrying and recycling. This presents some unique and exciting possibilities that we anticipate will contribute to our growth. CablePrice has excellent relationships with both the public and private sectors, and working together will benefit not only our companies but, more importantly, their customers.”
