Covid-19, North Island Food and Rest areas during lockdown
UPDATED 08 April 2020
NORTH ISLAND | SOUTH ISLAND | SOUTH ISLAND ACCOMMODATION
It appears that the only food available for collection while you are on the road is from supermarkets including 4Square and Fresh Choice.
Service stations – some are operational, we’re trying to find out if they are doing hot food and bakery items. Customers can‘t enter most service stations, have to ‘order‘ through the window.
Dairies – no hot food or bakery items and only one customer in the store at a time.
Our best advice is to take food on the road with you.
At this stage we‘re working on gaining more information and will update accordingly.
