Dual-fuel hydrogen truck make debut for Alexander Group

Alexander Group NZ’s new dual fuel hydrogen truck has officially hit the road for its maiden voyage.
The truck made its road debut last week on Ingham’s Waitoa Free Range chicken run.
“This is a big leap toward a cleaner, more sustainable transport future. We’re incredibly proud to partner with Inghams Group Limited and TR Group to help lead the charge for greener transport solutions,” the company said in a LinkedIn post.
Built on a CF85 DAF 6×4 tractor, the truck uses dual-fuel technology to reduce carbon emissions while maintaining the flexibility of diesel operation.
The truck was developed by TR Group and CH2NGE Fuel Technologies, a division of H.W. Richardson Group.
TR Group announced the availability of CH2NGE dual-fuel trucks at an event in March, where it also announced the arrival of full hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicles.
