Isuzu Truck product testing in the Blenheim hills.
New Zealand‘s leading new large truck brand, Isuzu, has recently completed a research and development programme with findings from the tests incorporated into forthcoming new models. As a result Isuzu have announced the launch of two hotly anticipated models – CYZ460 and CYZ530 6x4s with Isuzu‘s proprietary MJX 16-speed Automated Manual Transmission to complement the existing three 18-speed Eaton Road Ranger models.
“Isuzu has been number one in the New Zealand truck market for 18 consecutive years and we‘re committed to extending this remarkable run even further,” said general manager, Colin Muir.
“The brand has made huge advancements in quality, reliability and now we‘re striving for the next level in terms of local input into future product initiatives. The recent programme we participated in reinforces the Isuzu‘s commitment to New Zealand, but is also evidence that we‘re committed to ensuring new products are tested and tuned for local conditions.”
