Keith Andrews Trucks operations under levels 2 and 3
Keith Andrews Trucks CEO Aaron Smith said the dealership‘s operations in Auckland, Whangarei, and Hamilton are well-prepared to operate safely and effectively under all alert levels, with the same robust systems and strict protocols established earlier this year.
Since midday on Wednesday 12 August, KAT Auckland has been operating contactless servicing, repair, parts supply and vehicle sales – according to alert level 3 guidelines – with all remaining sites following alert level 2 procedure. This will continue based on the government‘s advice on Friday.
“While the continuation of level 3 restrictions for Auckland is not the news that any of us wanted, our entire team is fully prepared and equipped to continue servicing all of our customers across sales, parts and service,” said Smith.
“All staff understand the importance of following strict procedures to protect the health and safety of everyone in our communities. We take our responsibility extremely seriously and will be playing our part in helping to keep the country moving – on the road, and hopefully towards a speedy resolution to this latest round in the fight against Covid-19.
“We would like to thank all our customers for their understanding of these measures. By working together, we can ensure we all move forward safely and with confidence.”
Procedures common to all KAT sites under levels 2 and 3
In line with Ministry of Health guidelines, KAT is strongly advising all visitors to wear a face mask.
Covid-19 tracer QR codes will be posted at all dealership entrance points. All visitors are strongly advised to scan in using the official app when visiting any KAT sites. Visitors will also be asked by service advisors for contact details, to ensure they can be notified in the advent of a Covid-19-related event.
All KAT service advisors and technicians will be following MoH guidelines, including appropriate distancing, wearing of PPE and heightened hygiene practices.
Procedures specific to KAT Auckland under level 3
