Mainfreight has opened a new warehouse in Zaltbommel, The Netherlands. With the new warehouse‘s 25,000 m2, Mainfreight is expanding its European footprint to more than 350,000 m² of warehouse space. This warehouse also offers space for the storage of hazardous goods (ADR Limited Quality), storage for aerosols and flammable liquids.

Out of this BREEAM Very Good warehouse, a wide range of services will be provided – next to best-in-class storage and order picking processes, various value-adding activities are performed, such as the execution of multi-packs and display building.

The distribution centre is located on the De Wildeman business park, which is part of the Logistic Hotspot Rivierenland. Its strategic location, situated next to the motorway A2, gives Mainfreight the opportunity to improve service levels for customers and to provide extensive end-to-end European distribution services.
