The NZ Transport Agency advises resurfacing work will begin on State Highway 1 in Tokoroa this Sunday, 13 October.

This is following on from South Waikato District Council work that replaced the stormwater mains under the state highway over winter.

The work is expected to take around five weeks to complete and most of it will be done overnight between Sunday night 13 October and Tuesday 14 November.

Temporary speed limits with lane diversions will be in place.
