New Zealand freight specialist Roberto Brady has been appointed to the newly created role of group general manager Freight Lines and Streamline Freight.

In his new role, Brady will be responsible for driving strategic, commercial, and operational alignment across the Freight Lines line haul and Streamline freight forwarding businesses.

Bringing extensive road freight industry experience to the business, Brady has spent 10 years in senior operational and commercial roles at Toll New Zealand and, most recently, was general manager commercial at Kotahi Logistics LP.

Louise Struthers, group CEO of Freight Lines, Streamline Freight, Strait Shipping and Bluebridge, says the appointment is significant for the group.

“Rob‘s arrival in this exciting new role represents a step forward for our road freight businesses,” Struthers says.

“Maximising alignment between Freight Lines and Streamline to create an even more compelling proposition for our customers is a critical strategic priority and we‘re delighted to have someone with Rob‘s expertise to drive this. His operational and commercial leadership will be invaluable as we evolve the freight businesses across our extensive national network.”

Brady will work across the group‘s nationwide network and will be based at Freight Lines‘ Wiri operation.
