A rare opportunity exists at New Zealand Trucking magazine/media.
We are currently looking to fill a permanent editorial role.
Role description
The creation and compilation of editorial material for both print and digital, and all associated processes involved in publishing New Zealand Trucking magazines print edition and all other media forms.
Our requirements are:
- An unwavering and absolute passion for all aspects of trucks and trucking
- The ability to work flexible hours as and when required in the pursuit of great content
- Strong writing skills
- Excellent photographic skills (in terms of truck photography)
- Experience in video camera work would be an advantage, although a willingness to learn is more important
- A happy disposition with the ability to get on with people – no big egos

- The ability to work to a deadline that‘s
immoveable - The ability to follow processes
- The ability to take instruction and learn
- Enthusiasm for travel and meeting those who make the industry tick, both at home and abroad
- A full car
licence (essential) - Absolutely drug-free (this will be tested)
- Have no issues with obtaining a passport if you don‘t have one already.
Our preference is that you will also have:
- A Class 5
licence or at least one of the commercial vehicle sub-classes - History in or around the trucking industry.
