Strengthening works to Aro Aro Bridge on State Highway 2 in the Waioeka Gorge will get under way from Tuesday 28 January.

The works are expected to take six weeks to complete and a single lane closure with speed restrictions will be in place for the duration of the works.

NZ Transport Agency Bay of Plenty system manager Rob Campbell says motorists should plan ahead and allow extra time for their journeys.
