Dates are now confirmed for New Zealand‘s largest trucking event, the 2020 TMC Trailers Trucking Industry Show. Held 20 to 21 March 2020, the industry will gather for two days of showcasing, networking and celebrating. This show is not to be missed, and bookings for sponsorship and trade exhibitor sites are now open.

The 2018 TMC Trailers Trucking Industry Show was a huge success, with more than 400 trucks on site, 280 trucks in the show and shine competition, 70-plus exhibitors, 23,000 visitors over two days, 400 people at the industry celebration dinner, and $22,000 raised for charities. Due to the success of the 2018 show, TMC Trailers Ltd was fast to confirm the naming rights for the 2020 show.

Canterbury Agricultural Park is a perfect venue for this event and allows companies to take larger spaces for displays and provides a better area for the show and shine trucks. To accommodate the increasing number of exhibitors, the 2020 show has added further space, which will also allow more room for working displays and larger competition areas.

Show organiser the NZ Trucking Association is determined to keep this show affordable, and has not increased the rates for the past six years. The show is organised by a very small team and is helped by industry suppliers and volunteers, who form the organising committee. The show is designed to be all-inclusive for the entire industry to get involved, from trucks, cranes and heavy machinery, to the trade that supports every aspect of transport.

Friday is the trade day and careers showcase, which has a strong focus on customer hosting and allows companies to invite guests along. The careers showcase has a new and improved format, with record numbers already registered to attend. With the whole industry struggling to attract the next generation and new talent, this is a fantastic opportunity to showcase what the industry is all about and for sponsors to promote their company. New to 2020 is the Friday exhibitor networking get together. The TR Group trucking relay competition will also be back, with new challenges. Watch this space as more show attractions are released in 2019. Saturday‘s industry celebration dinner is a fantastic sell-out event. This has been relocated to the Canterbury Agricultural Park‘s Equestrian Centre, which can hold up to 1000 guests and is within walking distance from the show gates.

Contact the team to request an information pack and reserve your spot. Those who book early will be making the most of their brand exposure for a full year leading up to March 2020.
