The first Bridgestone New Zealand mobile truck wheel alignment service is now servicing the Greater Auckland, Northland, Waikato and Bay of Plenty Regions, but there are plans to extend the service nationwide.

Utilising the latest in JOSAM cam-aligner technology, the wheel alignment service helps reduce tyre wear, which improves fuel economy, handling and extends the life of tyres.

Bridgestone New Zealand commercial business manager Jeremy Mackintosh said the deployment of the mobile truck wheel alignment service vans will be more cost and time efficient for customers.

“Being able to bring such a crucial service to depots rather than requiring our customers to come to us means less time off the road, which is vital to business success,” he said.

“The goal of this service is to keep our customer‘s fleets on the road, which helps reduce overall operating costs and streamlines business operation.” 

Part of Bridgestone‘s Total Tyre Management programme, it is the first time the company has offered on-site technical service and advice on truck and trailer wheel alignment.

“We anticipate that this comprehensive wheel alignment service will be greeted warmly by our customers across the North Island and we are already planning to roll-out the service across the rest of the country in the near future,” Mackintosh said.
