Temptation comes in black or white

Mercedes-Benz Truck has introduced a limited edition 2660 LS Actros loaded with special features. The 2660 LS is available in white or black, both of which feature a grey double stripe that indicates they are not regular Actros models.
Other external cues include Bi-Xenon headlights, LED daytime running lights and stainless steel accents, as well as a Black Edition or White Edition graphic above the windscreen.
There are even more features to be found in the cab, with high quality special edition leather seat trim, air suspension seats, a cabin refrigerator and the F04 sleeper cab.
Mercedes-Benz Truck senior manager of sales, Dave Ballantyne, said the company thought long and hard about how a special edition truck should be configured.
“We decided to give the exterior a boost, with special headlights, the chrome, the stripe and the choice of black or white, but a lot of attention has also been paid to the interior.”
The 2660 model used for the Black and White Series is the top-specification truck in the current Actros range and features a 16-litre V8 turbo diesel engine generating 600hp and 2800Nm of torque. It comes standard with a 12-speed automated manual transmission.
