Calven Bonney officially received his New Zealand Order of Merit for services to the trucking industry and motorsport today.

The National Road Carriers association said they were thrilled this honour had been bestowed upon Bonney, saying he was highly respected within the transport sector and gave up a lot of his spare time to help others.
