On the day the weather gods delivered, it was a cracker day which brought the public through the gate in droves. Along with the A & P Show attractions there was an almost record turnout.

Although numbers were slightly down on trucks this year with 48 trucks entered it was still a very impressive turnout. The number of quality trucks presented made it tough for the team of five judges.

With some really nice prizes to be handed to the winning categories, King Rig went to Justin Walker from Coombs Transport in a FH Volvo. People’s choice went to Shane Pearson from STL in the T904 Kenworth. Sponsor choice went to Ethan Watson from BCB in the T909 Kenworth.

After missing out on last year’s show because of Covid restrictions, it was finally nice to hold the show again and have the trucks come back through the gate. Dynes Transport kindly donated its Kenworth truck barbecue and the Arthur Burns Kindergarten team did a fantastic job of feeding the public with a sausage or patty and onion in bread.

We would like to thank our main sponsor City Auto Glass, who supplied the winning categories with a framed mirror and the very impressive sponsors choice prize of a hot lap at Highlands MotorSport Park Cromwell. Also the many other sponsors who donated some really nice prize packs.
