IVECO New Zealand calling for expressions of interest in new positions

IVECO New Zealand recently announced plans to build a new wholesale headquarters, retail showroom and parts and service facility in Wiri, and have confirmed they are beginning to accept submissions of interest on their website.

The new office will easily house more than 40 employees immediately, with room for further expansion as the business continues to grow. That means more than 20 new skilled workers are needed in addition to the 20 already employed at their current location in Wiri.

Ian Walker, general manager IVECO NZ, says while they don‘t foresee having an operational facility until Q3 2018, they need to recruit and hire for key roles ahead of the launch date.

“New Zealand is blessed with low unemployment and therefore recruiting good people takes time. With our investment into facilities, products and our dealer network, it is vital we seek world-class applicants to continue to build on our world-class vision. We want to put in the time, energy and resources to make sure we recruit these people for our company.”

Positions being recruited for include a service manager, national after-sales manager, foremen, technicians, service advisors, sales and administration staff.

Expressions of interest can be submitted via the IVECO website at www.iveco.co.nz/careers
