Penske has appointed Jim Livermore as director of Penske New Zealand.

With significant growth in both the Penske Power Systems and Penske Commercial Vehicles businesses in New Zealand over the past four years, Livermore will assume overall responsibility for both businesses, ensuring full integration of services.

Currently the chief operating officer of Penske Power Systems, Livermore brings a wealth of experience to the role, said Randall Seymore, president of Penske Transportation Group International.

“Jim has an extremely strong background in operational management and business development, as well as being a seasoned leader,” he said.

“He has a great understanding of the on- and off-highway markets which will enable him to identify and maximise the synergies between the Commercial Vehicles and Power Systems businesses.

“Our growth in New Zealand has been very encouraging to date and Jim will oversee the continued development of the operations as well as ensuring we are delivering world-class service and efficiency for our customers.”

Livermore will be supported by John Keenan at Penske Commercial Vehicles and Clinton Davies at Penske Power Systems, ensuring business continuity.
