Large group of truckers from New Zealand to visit the Brisbane Truck Show 16 to 19 May

More than 75 truck enthusiasts have signed up for the Brisbane Trucking Tour organised by the NZ Trucking Association. The Brisbane Truck Show is held every second year and is a popular show, with many visitors coming from all over Australia and New Zealand. It is held in the Brisbane Exhibition and Convention Centre, which has plenty of room for all the large trucks, trailers and trade displays.

NZ Trucking Association is a fast-growing association with many transport operators and owner-drivers joining to take advantage of the advice and benefits they offer. The team at NZ Trucking Association has learned that sometimes truckers just want to have fun, so the idea was hatched to offer a package to the trucking community that included two-day pass to the Brisbane Truck Show, tour of the Volvo/Mack and Penske Facilities, and a networking function. The Volvo and Penske tours were filled quickly.

The idea was originally planned for about 25 people, but the number quickly rose and the demand for the trip meant an extra bus was needed. Teletrac NAVMAN heard about the trip and are coming along to host the networking evening held on a rooftop bar close to the show. It‘s a great opportunity for Teletrac Navman to connect with transport operators and truck drivers from around New Zealand. The wining team from the 2018 TMC Trailers Trucking Relay competition will also join the group.

Because of the huge demand, plans are now underway to organise a group tour to the 2021 Brisbane Truck Show.
