The MAN TGX has been voted ‘Fleet Truck of the Year‘ at the prestigious Motor Transport Awards 2018.

Announced to an audience of over 1,000 representatives from the transport industry, the Motor Transport Awards celebrate the achievements of the industry and recognise and reward excellence, innovation, outstanding service and efficiency.

For 32 years, the Motor Transport Awards have been seen as a benchmark for excellence among UK road transport fleet operators, vehicle manufacturers and other innovators.

Widely regarded as the ‘Oscars‘ of the industry, they are judged by an independent panel of experts.

“The judging panel, made up of extremely experienced industry professionals, singled out the MAN TGX for its high efficiency, low cost of ownership, excellent parts and service support delivered through a highly focused dealer network, as well as the high levels of driver comfort,” said Motor Transport editor Steve Hobson. “These are all attributes that make a real difference to truck operators and drivers.” 

Presented with the award at the official ceremony, Thomas Hemmerich, managing director of MAN Truck & Bus UK Ltd said he was delighted to accept the award.
