New date confirmed for New Zealand Road Transport Hall of Fame gala

In News1 MinutesBy NZ Trucking magazineSeptember 2, 2021

The 2021 New Zealand Road Transport Hall of Fame gala dinner has been shifted to 12 November 2021 due to disruptions caused by the latest Covid-10 lockdowns.

This year’s event, which takes place at Bill Richardson Transport World in Invercargill, is expected to host 500 guests and will see six recipients enter the Hall of Fame.

Tickets are still available for the main gala dinner.

“This time around, we have decided to change things up a little bit when it comes to the Past Inductees and Sponsors event,” the event organiser has said.

“Normally held the night before the main gala dinner event, in 2021 we would like to extend a warm invitation to this informal cocktail party catch-up for all attendees who are in town. This will be held also at Bill Richardson Transport World.”

The event is sponsored by Mobil Delvac 1, Sime Darby Motor Group, Bridgestone, Mobil Oil NZ Ltd, Transport Trailers, Wynn Williams, VTNZ, Teletrac Navman, and IAG.
