Sime Darby Motor Group NZ has announced the appointment of Michael Doeg to the position of general manager – Hino Distributors (NZ) Ltd. Doeg will be based at the Hino office in Mt Wellington but will split his time between the Hino offices in Auckland and Palmerston North. 

Doeg has worked in the automotive industry for the past 20 years, having held a range of roles across retail vehicle sales, vehicle finance and Isuzu trucks. He was also operations manager for GM Holden New Zealand, prior to his most recent position of sales and marketing manager for Isuzu New Zealand. Chris Brown, GM Sime Darby Commercial Group, commented that, “Michael will be a strong addition to the Sime Darby Commercial Group leadership team – we all look forward to him coming aboard”. 

Sime Darby Commercial Group brands include Hino, Volvo, Mack, UD Trucks and the national Truck Stops service network.
