New Iveco Daily mini coaches launched

The market-leading features of Iveco‘s Daily van range are now available in the people mover market with the brand launching a highly anticipated mini coach range, comprising two model variants standard with electric plug doors and rear air suspension.

The new mini coach models will be introduced on the latest Daily platform which features a clean-running Euro5 engine and a host of safety enhancements to add to the Daily‘s already impressive array of active and passive safety features.

The entry-level Shuttle is based on a longer 4100mm-plus wheelbase with rear suspension and can seat up to 19 passengers plus the driver. This vehicle provides a best-in-class passenger seating area allowing more legroom for the occupants. This variant also features the generous H2 roof with luggage racks. GVM for the Shuttle is 5.6 tonnes.

Operators requiring an even higher end, premium finish can opt for the Executive. This 5.6 tonne GVM variant offers the same number of seats and wheelbase specifications as the Shuttle but with a higher H3 roof (2010 mm standing height), larger luggage racks, extra space for passengers, and premium trim.

Vehicles currently do not come with factory-fitted seats, so there is a plethora of locally fitted seating options. If fewer seats and more luggage storage is chosen then the luggage area is easily-accessed via the 270°-opening rear barn doors.

Powering the mini coach range is Iveco‘s Euro 5, 3-litre twin turbo. Also available as an option is a Euro 6, 4-cylinder turbodiesel engine.

Coupled to the engine is Iveco‘s market-leading 8-speed full automatic transmission. All models also feature cruise control and an extensive range of safety features.
