Road user charges are to rise between five and six percent and will be applied unilaterally across all current RUC rates.

These regulations, which come into force on 1 July 2019, amend the Road User Charges (Rates) Regulations 2015. The amendments increase the prescribed rates of road user charges payable under the Road User Charges Act 2012.
