The NZ Transport Agency is advising that the westbound lane of Saddle Road between State Highway 3 Ashhurst and State Highway 3 Woodville will be closed on Tuesday 17 September and Wednesday 18 September, from 8.30am to 2.30pm both days.

The westbound lane closure will provide a safe working environment for road workers, who will be undertaking a detailed on-the-ground inspection of the road to assess the current road conditions.

Minor maintenance works will also be completed during the closure, including small pavement repairs, edge marker post replacement and sign cleaning.

There will be a detour for westbound travellers via the Pahiatua Track. Road users are advised to plan ahead.

Access to all local properties will be maintained throughout the closure.
