Safewise has moved to a new location at 1134 (Unit 1) Victoria Street, Hamilton.

Owner Tracey Murphy says the new office allows them to accommodate an increase in capacity.

“This is an exciting time for Safewise and we look forward to this new locatin as the start of a new chapter. Here at Safewise we service clients across Auckland, Bay of Plenty and Waikato. Our mission is to continue to deliver an exceptional level of work to a vast client base.”

Safewise‘s client base ranges from hairdressers to engineers, from panel beaters to adventure parks, from builders to boutiques.

“Our staff are qualified, skilled, experienced. We are comfortable working in any industry and we bring professionalism and enthusiasm to any project,” says Murphy.

In addition to the new location, Safewise employed Doug Machado as administrator at the end of February.

“Giving us a bit of diversity with his South American background, Doug will be helping all our clients with their systems, along with improving our own.

Doug studied business management and has a passion for processes and procedures. He worked for 11 years as a sales consultant for some of the world‘s largest IT and photocopier companies, focusing on document workflow improvement.”

After a career in IT, Machado began working for one of Safewise‘s clients where he was also one of the health and safety representatives. The opportunity gave him a good feel for the health and safety industry, and he subsequently joined Safewise. His duties cover a range of administrative tasks and system development, and Murphy says his aim is to further develop a career in health and safety.

Safewise is a member of NZISM (New Zealand Institute of Safety Management), IMNZ (Institute of Management New Zealand), Standards NZ, EMA (Employers and Manufacturers' Association) and Waikato Chamber of Commerce.
