Scania New Zealand is expanding its service dealer network with two new workshops having opened in Whangarei and Gisborne on Monday 22 March 2021.

The Whangarei site was the previous CablePrice workshop for Northland. It will now be operated by Scania NZ and will be rebranded for its opening.

The Gisborne site is the location of the new, authorised Scania service dealer for the East Coast region, East Coast Heavy Diesel and Machinery Ltd.

Both sites will be operating with a full suite of service, parts and after-hours support by the end of March.

Scott Hale, director of East Coast Heavy Diesel and Machinery Ltd, said the company is delighted to come under the Scania stable and looks forward to maintaining its highly professional standards and customer-focussed service.

Scania New Zealand managing director Mattias Lundholm assures Scania customers of a seamless transition of service as the centres come under the Scania brand.

“Scania‘s renowned quality customer service remains our top priority. We are very pleased to be able to extend our service offering to our valuable customers by adding these key locations of Whangarei and Gisborne to the Scania network,” said Lundholm.
