Road resurfacing work to improve the quality and longevity of State Highway 1 at multiple locations between Taupo and Turangi will commence this Monday, 2 November.

From 6pm on Monday night, a 260m-long section of road in Waitetoko will be replaced over four nights.

While this work is undertaken stop/go traffic management will direct traffic around the worksite, and a temporary speed limit of 30kph will be in place to ensure the safety of both crews and road users.
