TR Group an essential service provider

TR Group managing director Andrew Carpenter said the company will continue to provide nationwide 24/7 support to New Zealand‘s transport and infrastructure sectors. TR Group is deemed as an essential service under guidelines provided by the Ministry of Transport while the country operates under Level 4 restrictions, in an effort to minimise the spread of Covid-19.

“We have a nationwide rental team and a fleet of 1400 rental trucks and trailers in over 100 categories that will continue to be available to assist essential businesses in any way required to keep the country moving,” said Carpenter.

“For our existing customers with lease and rental gear, our service network largely remains open. They too are deemed to be an essential service and will be providing ongoing service, repairs and support to the industry. Urgent callouts and after-hours emergencies are not affected,” he continued.

“One thing we can assure our valued customers is that we will get your vehicle serviced or repaired, or we will find a suitable vehicle to keep you moving. There may be some changes to who undertakes the work on your gear, but we will ensure your fleet is supported.”

TR Group‘s driver training division TR Master Drive Services also offers a wide range of online driver training options for people who want to upskill during the lockdown period. These courses can be accessed at www.masterdrive.co.nz/ and www.drivingtests.co.nz/courses/

Lastly, Carpenter thanked the trucking industry and TR Group‘s customers for all their understanding and support as TR Group operates in this uncharted environment.
