Vehicle Inspection New Zealand has upgraded its VINZ site at Christchurch Airport with two lanes of rising bed load simulation from MAHA Australia New Zealand.

The investment will see instant return on investment by drastically reducing throughput times while keeping inspectors safe by removing the need to handle chains and straps.

“Testing automotive and commercial vehicles with a roller brake tester is technically superior for many reasons; it’s extremely accurate, safe and much more reputable than other brake testing methods known by the local industry,” said MAHA.

“It is the first choice for accuracy by governments around the world and right here in Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.”

Rising bed load simulations means no straps or chains for dual or tri-axle. Load simulation tests brakes properly by measuring while activating the load proportion valves.
